Rather expected game when 9th ranked Giessen 46ers (6-7) were defeated on the road by seventh ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (7-5) 83-68 on Sunday. EnBW Ludwigsburg forced 19 Giessen 46ers turnovers. American point guard Jordon Crawford (168-90, college: Bowling Green) stepped up and scored 16 points and 6 assists for the winners and naturalized American Adam Waleskowski (203-82, college: Florida St.) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. Five EnBW Ludwigsburg players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Larry Gordon (196-87, college: Cal Poly Pomona) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and center Mahir Agva (206-96) scored 12 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. EnBW Ludwigsburg maintains seventh place with 7-5 record. Giessen 46ers lost their fifth game in a row.
