Everything went according to plan in Istanbul where third ranked Anadolu Efes (9-3) outscored 11th ranked Pinar Karsiyaka (5-8) 104-76 on Sunday. Anadolu Efes dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Pinar Karsiyaka's 38. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Pinar Karsiyaka's players. Australian forward Brock Motum (208-90, college: Washington St.) fired 25 points and 8 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winners. French guard Rodrigue Beaubois (185-88, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 17 points. Egyptian forward Assem Marei (206-92, college: Minn.St.-Mankato) produced 12 points and 9 rebounds and American-Jamaican guard Sek Henry (193-87, college: Nebraska) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Four Anadolu Efes and five Pinar Karsiyaka players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Anadolu Efes moved-up to second place, which they share with Turk Telekom. Pinar Karsiyaka lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with eight games lost.
