Very expected game when 6th ranked Timberwolves (7-8) were defeated on the road by second ranked Gunners Oberwart (11-4) 86-75. The game was mostly controlled by Gunners Oberwart. Timberwolves was better in third quarter 21-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Timberwolves 42-29 including 18 on the offensive glass. Gunners Oberwart players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a good game for American forward Justin Coleman (203-94, college: Charleston, agency: Players Group) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. British center Chris Tawiah (207-93, college: Wiley) contributed with 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Coleman is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Gunners Oberwart players scored in double figures. Serbian center Marko Kolaric (213-84, college: Chaminade) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and forward Peter Hofbauer (193-98) added 19 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Timberwolves. Gunners Oberwart have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain second place with 11-4 record behind leader Gmunden. Timberwolves lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the sixth position with eight games lost. Gunners Oberwart's next round opponent will be Kapfenberg Bulls (#3) on the road, which may be the game of the day.
