There was an upset in Panevezys where 4th placed Lietkabelis (10-7) was defeated by eighth ranked Prienu Skycop (6-11) 81-73 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 29-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Prienu Skycop looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Lietkabelis was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was the former international center Darjus Lavrinovic (212-79) who scored 14 points and 5 assists. American forward Mike Bruesewitz (201-90, college: Wisconsin, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds.
