Regular Season Round 26: Ezerunas - Taurages 81-77

An interesting game took place in Moletai, where 10th ranked Taurages (11-14) lost to thirteenth ranked Ezerunas (9-16) in a road game 77-81. 26 personal fouls committed by Taurages helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Center Ignas Lukosius (202-93) notched a double-double by scoring 16 points, 16 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks to lead the effort and swingman Kostas Jonuska (195-92) supported him with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 19 points (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) by point guard Mindaugas Stasys (180-86) did not help to save the game for Taurages. Center Deividas Keburys (201-90) added 10 points and 8 rebounds for the guests. Five Ezerunas and four Taurages players scored in double figures. Ezerunas moved-up to twelfth place. Taurages at the other side keeps the tenth position with 14 games lost. Ezerunas' next round opponent will be league's second-placed Palanga on the road and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
