No shocking result in a game when second ranked Bursaspor (11-2) beat on the road 13th ranked Ankara D.S.I. (3-10) 68-63 on Saturday. It was a very good performance for Croatian guard Karlo Vragovic (192-89, agency: BeoExcell) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 5 rebounds. Serbian power forward Dejan Borovnjak (207-86, agency: BeoBasket) contributed with 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American center David Weaver (207-87, college: Wake Forest) answered with 30 points and 7 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and swingman Kaan Sariaslan (193-97) added 14 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Ankara D.S.I.Ankara D.S.I.'s coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. The victory was the third consecutive win for Bursaspor. They maintain second place with 11-2 record behind leader Karesi Spor. Ankara D.S.I. lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the thirteenth position with ten games lost. Bursaspor will face league's leader Karesi Spor at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ankara D.S.I. will play against Bandirma Kir. (#15) in Balikesir and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
