Very predictable result when seventh ranked Lions (9-8) rolled over 13th ranked Schalke (6-9) in Karlsruhe 82-59 on Saturday. Lions forced 22 Schalke turnovers. Dominique Johnson (194-92) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Orlando Parker (203-91, college: Wagner) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Four Lions players scored in double figures. American guard Courtney Belger (187-89, college: Quincy) answered with 18 points and 4 assists and Canadian forward Mamadou Gueye (198-93, college: Alberta) added 7 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Schalke. Lions have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Ehingen and Trier. Newly promoted Schalke dropped to the fourteenth position with nine games lost.
