Important game to mention about took place in . Fourth ranked Turk Telekom (8-6) saved a 3-point derby victory at home edging one of their biggest challengers Tofas (8-6) 85-82 in the fight for the third place. Turk Telekom forced 22 Tofas turnovers. Strangely Tofas outrebounded Turk Telekom 62-43 including a 38-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. Tofas was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Burak Gozeneli (-0) who helped to win the game recording 39 points (!!!), 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals and Yigit Ozkan (-1) who added 17 points and 4 steals during the contest. At the losing side forward Omer Yavas (203-1) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 18 rebounds and Batin Tuna (196-3) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Four Tofas players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Turk Telekom have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated Tofas. Tofas lost third consecutive game. Turk Telekom will play against league's leader Anadolu Efes in Istanbul in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Tofas will play against Ozel Gelisim Koleji and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
