An interesting game took place in Bonn where 8th ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (8-6) was upset on the court of eleventh ranked Telekom Baskets (7-8) 86-62. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of EnBW Ludwigsburg. It was an exceptional evening for forward Martin Breunig (203-92, college: Montana) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Naturalized American guard TJ DiLeo (190-90, college: Temple) accounted for 14 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Four Telekom Baskets players scored in double figures. Canadian power forward Owen Klassen (208-91, college: Acadia) came up with 16 points and 8 rebounds and American forward Kelan Martin (201-95, college: Butler) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for EnBW Ludwigsburg in the defeat. EnBW Ludwigsburg's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Telekom Baskets moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Giessen 46ers. EnBW Ludwigsburg at the other side keeps the eighth position with six games lost. Telekom Baskets will play against higher ranked ALBA Berlin (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. EnBW Ludwigsburg will play against BBC Bayreuth (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
