BBL top team - Bayern Muenchen (14-0) added another victory to their record on Sunday. This time they beat fifth ranked BBC Bayreuth (9-5) 101-95. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of BBC Bayreuth. Bayern Muenchen looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Derrick Williams (203-91, college: Arizona) who led his team to a victory scoring 27 points and 7 rebounds. Naturalized Bosnian Nihad Djedovic (196-90, agency: BeoBasket) helped adding 17 points. The best for the losing side was American forward DeMon Brooks (202-92, college: Davidson) with 21 points and 9 rebounds and Canadian guard Kassius Robertson (191-94, college: Missouri) scored 22 points. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bayern Muenchen have an impressive series of fourteen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 14-0 record. BBC Bayreuth at the other side dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. Bayern Muenchen are looking forward to face Deutsche Bank Skyliners (#12) in Frankfurt in the next round which should be an easy win for them. BBC Bayreuth will play on the road against EnBW Ludwigsburg (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
