Regular Season Round 14: Duzce Bld. - Akhisar Bld 71-80

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when fifth ranked Akhisar Bld (9-5) defeated on the road one of their biggest challengers Duzce Belediye (9-5) 80-71 on Friday. Akhisar Bld looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Tufan Onen (202-89) who scored 15 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. American power forward Curtis Kelly (208-88, college: Kansas St., agency: HMS) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. Five Akhisar Bld players scored in double figures. Akhisar Bld's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Ugur Aksoy (207-91) produced 20 points and 9 rebounds and guard Serhat Ugur (192-85) added 12 points and 10 assists respectively for the hosts.
