Regular Season Round 16: Langenhagen - Eimsbuetteler 65-78

There was a surprise result when fourteenth ranked ETV (5-11) won against on the road higher ranked Langenhagen (9-7) 78-65 on Saturday. It was a very good performance for American guard Tyseem Lyles (188, college: Mercy) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 9 rebounds. Lithuanian guard Vidmantas Uzkuraitis (189-85) contributed with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Lennart Holsten (204-96) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Arthur Zaletskiy (183-94) added 15 points, 5 assists and 5 steals in the effort for Langenhagen. Four Langenhagen players scored in double figures. Langenhagen's coach Benjamin Travnizek tested eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted ETV maintains fourteenth position in North with 5-11 record. Langenhagen at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the fifth place with seven games lost. ETV will face ALBA-2 (#15) in Berlin in the next round. Langenhagen will play on the road against Westerstede (#10) and hope to win that game.
