Regular Season Round 14: Bursaspor - Karesi Spor 86-65

There was a change at the TBL leadership position after last games. Round 14 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Karesi Spor (12-2). They were crushed by second ranked Bursaspor (12-2) 86-65 on Saturday night. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Forward Can Ozcan (202-89) scored 20 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Recep Dogrusoz (192-86) chipped in 19 points and 4 assists during the contest. Forward Hazer Avci (206-87, agency: Court Side) responded with 17 points and 9 rebounds and the former international Umit Sonkol (206-82) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bursaspor have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with defeated Karesi Spor. Karesi Spor will play next round against Ankara D.S.I. trying to make it back to the top of the standings.
