The game in Prienai was also quite interesting. 7th ranked Dzukija (6-12) played at the court of eighth ranked Prienu Skycop (7-11). Prienu Skycop defeated Dzukija 85-72 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Prienu Skycop. Dzukija managed to win second period 26-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The former international guard Martynas Gecevicius (193-88) notched 11 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and the former international guard Mindaugas Lukauskis (198-79) supported him with 19 points and 4 steals (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Five Prienu Skycop players scored in double figures. Even 19 points and 8 rebounds by swingman Matas Jogela (198-98) did not help to save the game for Dzukija. Guard Dominykas Domarkas (190-92) added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Prienu Skycop moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Juventus. Loser Dzukija dropped to the eighth position with 12 games lost. Prienu Skycop will meet higher ranked Neptunas (#3) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Dzukija will play against P.Zvaigzdes (#5) in Pasvalys and hope to secure a win.
