Rather expected game when 8th ranked Titans (7-9) were smashed on the road by sixth ranked SSV Lok Bernau (9-7) 82-63 on Sunday. SSV Lok Bernau forced 22 Titans turnovers and outrebounded them 34-21 including 20 on the defensive glass. It was a very good performance for point guard Jonas Mattisseck (194-0) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 6 assists and 6 steals. American power forward Quadir Welton (203-95, college: St.Peter's) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Julian Scott (203-90, college: Adams St.) replied with 14 points and 9 rebounds and Croatian Robert Kujundzic (202-94) added 14 points in the effort for Titans. Titans' coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. SSV Lok Bernau have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place in North, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Titans dropped to the ninth position with nine games lost. SSV Lok Bernau will face SG Schwelmer Baskets (#6) on the road in the next round. Titans will play against Iserlohn and hope to win that game.
