Bottom-ranked Domzale is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 16th consecutive match to third ranked Ilrija (11-5) 95-47 on Friday evening. The game without a history. Ilrija led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Domzale's 30 and made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. The winners were led by Ela Micunovic (182-97) who scored that evening 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Nina Gabrovsek (170-94) supported her with 17 points. Five Ilrija players scored in double figures. Even 16 points by forward Jasmina Hatic (176-89) did not help to save the game for Domzale. Forward Vanja Tajher (178-95) added 6 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. Domzale's coach Mladen Rajic already knew that her team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Ilrija maintains third position with 11-5 record having three points less than leader Celje. Loser Domzale still closes the standings. Ilrija will meet at home Grosbasket (#6) in the next round. Domzale will play against the league's second-placed Triglav in Kranj and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
