Very important is a home loss of third ranked Rapid Bucuresti (9-7) against fourth ranked Targu Secuiesc (6-9) on Saturday night. Host Rapid Bucuresti was defeated by Targu Secuiesc in a tough game in Bucuresti 69-75. The guests were already 12 points ahead at halftime and as many as 15 after three quarters before a 24-15 last quarter charge of Rapid Bucuresti cut the lead to 75-69 at the end of the game. The winners were led by American forward Kayla Mobley (180-90, college: Clayton St.) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds and forward Iringo Debreczi (183-96) supported her with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Even 30 points and 4 assists (made all of her fourteen free throws !!!) by the former international guard Florina Stanici (170-82) did not help to save the game for Rapid Bucuresti. Center Raluca Matei (191-97) added 12 points and 10 rebounds for lost side. Newly promoted Targu Secuiesc maintains fourth position in Nationala with 6-9 record. Rapid Bucuresti at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the third place with seven games lost. Targu Secuiesc will play against Alexandria (#5) at home in the next round. Rapid Bucuresti will play against the league's leader Oradea and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
