Regular Season Round 15: Final Spor - Duzce Bld. 97-83

We should mention about the upset which took place in Bursa, where higher ranked Duzce Belediye (9-6) lost to thirteenth ranked Final Spor (5-10) in a road game 83-97 on Saturday. Final Spor made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American LaceDarius Dunn (193-87, college: Baylor) who had a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. Forward Umar Atin (199-94) chipped in 19 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Steve Taylor-Jr (206-93, college: Toledo) who recorded 9 points and 11 rebounds and guard Serhat Ugur (192-85) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively. Four Duzce Belediye players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Final Spor moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Yalova Bld. Duzce Belediye lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the fourth position with six games lost. Final Spor will face higher ranked OGM Orman (#3) in Ankara in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Duzce Belediye will play against Artvin and hope to win that game.
