A very interesting game took place in Izmit. It ended with only two-point home defeat of 9th ranked Izmit (6-9) to sixth ranked Galatasaray (9-6) 86-84 on Saturday evening. It was a good game for the former international guard Isil Alben (170-86, agency: 1andBox Sports Agency) who led her team to a victory with 16 points and 6 assists. Point guard Serife Onar (167-96, agency: FlyBasketball) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Galatasaray's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth position with nine games lost.
