There was a minor upset when 9th ranked Ansbach (7-8) was rolled over at home by twelfth ranked Jena II (4-11) 104-70 on Sunday. Serbian point guard Vuk Radojicic (185-1) stepped up and scored 33 points (!!!) for the winners and Kristofer Krause (190-0) chipped in 15 points. Four Jena II players scored in double figures. Forward Walter Simon (202-89, college: Cumberland) responded with 27 points and 6 rebounds and American forward Steven Ward (200-87, college: Three Rivers CC) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Jena II maintains twelfth place in South-East with 4-11 record, which they share with Rosenheim. Loser Ansbach keeps the ninth position with eight games lost. Jena II will face Rosenheim (#13) at home in the next round.
