The game in Allmendingen supposed to be also quite interesting. 5th ranked Lions (10-9) played at the court of sixth ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule (11-8). Ehingen/Urspringschule smashed Lions 93-72 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Lions. Ehingen/Urspringschule looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for American guard Rayshawn Simmons (192-93, college: Cent.Michigan, agency: Two Points) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists. His fellow American import forward Seger Bonifant (201-93, college: W.Liberty St.) helped adding 24 points. Four Ehingen/Urspringschule players scored in double figures. Ehingen/Urspringschule's coach Domenik Reinboth felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Dominique Johnson (194-92) responded with 7 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Davonte Lacy (193-93, college: Washington St.) scored 11 points. Ehingen/Urspringschule have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place. Loser Lions dropped to the sixth position with nine games lost. They share it with Trier. Ehingen/Urspringschule will meet Walter Tigers (#14) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Lions will play against Artland Dragons (#9) and hope to secure a win.
