Seventh-ranked Galatasaray (5-11) made lots of trouble for fourth ranked Tofas (9-7) on Monday. Tofas managed to secure only one-point victory 77-76. However their fans expected easier game. Tofas outrebounded Galatasaray 48-37 including 35 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Berkan Aksu (203-1) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Omer Yavas (203-1) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Four Tofas players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Alp Oktay (189-1) who recorded 18 points and 6 rebounds and forward Mehmet Tugsal (198-0) added 17 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Tofas moved-up to third place. Galatasaray at the other side keeps the seventh position with 11 games lost.
