An interesting game was played in Telsiu where Perlas (#8) won against host Telsiai (#4) 85-74 on Thursday evening. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Perlas made 7 blocks. Forward Simas Jarumbauskas (197-0, agency: Octagon Europe) stepped up and scored 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and power forward Einaras Tubutis (207-98) chipped in 6 points and 13 rebounds. Four Perlas players scored in double figures. At the losing side power forward Mindaugas Norkus (200-85) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and Deividas Rasys (197-97) scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. Perlas will meet at home Palanga (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Telsiai will play against Silute and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
