Thirteenth-ranked Mersin Gelisim (3-13) gave a tough game to twelfth ranked Nesibe (7-12) in Ankara. Nesibe managed to secure only three-point victory 71-68. However their fans expected easier game. Forward Melis Lafatan (188-91) contributed with 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Forward Deniz Aygul (186-95) answered with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and American forward Dejza James (185-95, college: Arizona) added 19 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Mersin Gelisim. Nesibe moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Mersin Univ. Mersin Gelisim lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the fourteenth position with 13 games lost. Nesibe's next round opponent will be higher ranked Akdeniz U. (#6) and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
