There was a minor upset in Klaipeda where Neptunas-Akv. (16-13) was defeated by Silute (16-12) 96-82 on Friday. Silute made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Silute especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 56.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American forward Jeffery Perkins (198-93, college: Hawaii-Hilo) fired 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Evaldas Dziaugys (196-96) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. Silute's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Point guard Deividas Anuzis (182-92) produced 17 points and 4 assists and center Vytautas Sarakauskas (204-82) added 9 points and 12 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Silute will face Telsiai (#4) in Telsiu in the next round. Neptunas-Akv. will play on the road against Vytis in Sakiai and hope to win that game.
