The game in Herlev supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked Amager (7-3) played at the court of 6th ranked Herlev (4-7). Amager smashed Herlev 77-56 on Saturday. Amager forced 23 Herlev turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Amager especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. Forward Melanie Elmgreen (174-92) scored 31 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Hannah Beklar (165-0) chipped in 12 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. At the losing side forward Emilie Larsen (175-1) responded with 16 points and forward Caroline Rasmussen (177-1) scored 9 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Amager have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Herlev lost third consecutive game. Herlev at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the sixth position with seven games lost. Amager will face Vaerlose (#7) at home in the next round where they are favorite.
