Leader Rocks delivered the fourteenth win on Saturday night. This time they beat 9th ranked BBU (6-10) 89-82 in Salzburg. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 20-11. But BBU won third quarter 22-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 31 personal fouls committed by BBU helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Canadian center Corey Hallett (210-84, college: Monmouth) fired a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Gary Ware (205-83, college: Purdue) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points and 16 rebounds. Guard Adrian Mitchell (188-95) produced 24 points and Spanish forward Guillermo Sanchez (200-91) added 14 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Rocks and five BBU players scored in double figures. BBU's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Rocks (14-2) have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position. BBU lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with ten games lost. Rocks are looking forward to face Mustangs (#6) in Mistelbach in the next round where they are favorite. BBU will play at home against Nord Dragonz and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
