Regular Season Round 18: Fraport SKY II - Schwenningen 65-75

The biggest surprise of round 18 was guest BV Villingen-Schwenningen's (#2) road victory over Fraport Skyliners II (#3) 75-65 on Saturday evening. BV Villingen-Schwenningen forced 19 Fraport Skyliners II turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Bill Borekambi (198-92, college: Sequoias CC) who scored 23 points and 6 rebounds. American forward Rasheed Moore (196-95, college: E.Stroudsburg) chipped in 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Swedish guard Elijah Clarance (195-98, college: Illinois St.) who recorded 24 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and American guard Dennis Mavin (190-91, college: FIU) added 14 points respectively. Newly promoted BV Villingen-Schwenningen maintains second position in South with 12-6 record having five points less than leader Bayer Giants. Fraport Skyliners II at the other side keeps the third place with seven games lost. BV Villingen-Schwenningen are looking forward to face league's leader Bayer Giants in Leverkusen in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Fraport Skyliners II will play on the road against Wuerzburg and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
