There was no surprise when 11th ranked Herzoege Wolfenbuettel (5-13) was crushed on the road by second ranked SC Rist Wedel (12-6) 91-62 on Saturday. SC Rist Wedel made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. SC Rist Wedel outrebounded Herzoege Wolfenbuettel 43-26 including a 32-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was naturalized Nigerian guard Osaro Rich-Igbineweka (187-98) who scored 27 points and 6 rebounds.
