Very expected game in Ankara where 14th ranked Sakarya BSB (4-11) was crushed by third ranked Turk Telekom (10-5) 76-53 on Saturday. Turk Telekom looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Austrian swingman Sylven Landesberg (198-90, college: Virginia, agency: BeoBasket) who helped to win the game recording 11 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and American point guard TJ Campbell (175-88, college: Portland) who added 15 points during the contest. Turk Telekom's coach Burak Goren felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side DR Congolese forward Junior Etou (203-94, college: Tulsa) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds and Nigerian-American forward TK Edogi (203-94, college: Iona) scored 9 points and 10 rebounds. Turk Telekom maintains third position with 10-5 record having just three points less than leader Fenerbahce, which they share with Tofas. Sakarya BSB lost ninth consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth place with 11 games lost. Turk Telekom will face league's leader Fenerbahce in Istanbul in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Sakarya BSB will play at home against Buyukcekmece (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
