Regular Season Round 10: Vaerlose - Lemvig 77-61

Bottom-ranked Vaerlose managed to get a second victory, breaking the eight-game losing streak. This time they won against seventh-ranked Lemvig 77-61. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 16-point difference suggests that Vaerlose is in a good shape to leave the bottom place. Worth to mention a great performance of center Julianna Okosun (194-1) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 17 rebounds. Swingman Frida Formann (179-1) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 6 rebounds, 11 assists and 5 steals for the winners. American guard Natalee Faupel (178-95, college: MSU-Northern) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and her fellow American import forward Makenzie Miller (-95, college: Wisc.-La Crosse) added 11 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Lemvig. Four Lemvig players scored in double figures. Vaerlose (2-8) moved-up to seventh place. Lemvig at the other side dropped to the bottom position with eight games lost. Vaerlose's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Amager in Kastrup and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Lemvig will play at home against Stevnsgade (#5) and hope to win that game.
