The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Oberhaching as it allowed them to take a leadership position in South-East. Oberhaching defeated 6th ranked Treuchtlingen in Deisenhofen 78-63. It was a good game for Serbian center Miljan Grujic (206) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 6 rebounds. Center Moritz Wohlers (203-84, college: Mont.St.-Billings) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Forward Stefan Schmoll (196-89) replied with 14 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Florian Beierlein (195-95) added 13 points in the effort for Treuchtlingen.
