Very expected game in Ankara where 9th ranked Artvin (8-9) was crushed by third ranked OGM Orman (13-4) 95-76 on Friday. OGM Orman forced 20 Artvin turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Artvin's players. The best player for the winners was Bosnian-Slovenian center Hasan Rizvic (212-84) who scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Sercan Topcu (188-85) chipped in 19 points and 6 assists (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Five OGM Orman players scored in double figures. American point guard Ricky Tarrant (188-93, college: Memphis) produced 34 points (!!!) and forward Burak Tursen (197-99) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. OGM Orman moved-up to second place, which they share with Karesi Spor. Newly promoted Artvin dropped to the tenth position with nine games lost. They share it with Yeni Mamak. OGM Orman will meet Duzce Belediye (#5) on the road in the next round. Artvin will play against Edirne (#16) and hope to secure a win.
