Second Stage Round 3: Oradea - Sibiu 69-83

Date: February 1, 2019
No shocking result in a game when Sibiu (13-4) beat on the road Oradea (10-7) 83-69 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Sibiu. Oradea was better in third quarter 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. His fellow American import guard Kevin Hardy (188-93, college: McNeese St., agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 11 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Five Sibiu players scored in double figures. American guard Kris Richard (196-89, college: Tulane) answered with 26 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and international point guard Giordan Watson (178-85, college: Cent.Michigan, agency: BeoBasket) added 18 points and 4 assists in the effort for Oradea. Sibiu will face Craiova (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Oradea will play against Cluj Napoca and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
