Leader Dynamo-NPU delivered the sixteenth victory. This time they crushed 9th ranked Kozachka-KPU (3-18) 100-63 in Kyiv. The game without a history. Dynamo-NPU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Kozachka-KPU's 46 and made 18-of-22 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game, while Kozachka-KPU only scored two points from the stripe. They outrebounded Kozachka-KPU 45-24 including a 35-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Dynamo-NPU players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was a quality performance for American guard Andreona Keys (178-95, college: Purdue) who led the winners and scored 16 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Forward Viktoriya Kasatkina (187-92) accounted for 12 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Keys is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Dynamo-NPU players scored in double figures. Dynamo-NPU's coach felt very confident using 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Olha Sivakova (170-92) came up with 11 points and 4 assists and power forward Jana Strelko (186-81) added 14 points respectively for Kozachka-KPU in the defeat. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Dynamo-NPU. They maintain first place with 16-3 record. Kozachka-KPU lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 18 games lost. Dynamo-NPU's next round opponent will be SBK Lviv (#7) on the road which should be theoretically another easy game. Kozachka-KPU will play against Interkhim in Odessa and hope to win that game.
