Rather predictable result when ninth ranked Izmit (8-9) won against at home 13th ranked Istanbul Uni (1-16) 65-56 on Saturday. American point guard Tan White (170-82, college: Mississippi St., agency: ProDep Management) nailed 11 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals for the winning side and the former international point guard Gizem Yavuz (170-88) accounted for 10 points and 8 assists. American guard Imani Watkins (173-96, college: Binghamton, agency: Two Points) came up with 21 points and 7 rebounds and Senegalese power forward Aminata Fall (193-91, college: S.Nazarene, agency: Two Points) added 12 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Istanbul Uni in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted Izmit maintains ninth place with 8-9 record. Istanbul Uni lost their seventh game in a row.
