No shocking result in a game when third ranked Hagen BG (13-5) crushed on the road 10th ranked Leverkusen FB (4-13) 104-81 on Saturday. Hagen BG looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Quite impressive performance for American forward Salathiel Ligons (201-84) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. Bosnian guard Semir Albinovic (197-91) contributed with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Hagen BG players scored in double figures. Hagen BG's coach Kosta Filippou felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lukas Klein answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and center Adrian Brueckmann (203-91) added 18 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Leverkusen FB. The victory was the third consecutive win for Hagen BG. They maintain third place in West with 13-5 record having just two points less than leader Duesseldorf, which they share with Grevenbroich. Leverkusen FB lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the eleventh position with 13 games lost. Hagen BG will face Grevenbroich (#4) at home in the next round. Leverkusen FB will play against the league's second-placed Hertener Loewen (#2) and hope to win that game.
