Regular Season Round 19: Herzogenaurach - Bad Aibling 93-79

Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Bad Aibling (6-11) lost on the road to fifth ranked Herzogenaurach (10-7) 93-79 on Saturday. Herzogenaurach dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Bad Aibling's 40. Herzogenaurach forced 22 Bad Aibling turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Quite impressive performance for American guard Larry Hall (190-83, college: W.Oregon) who helped to win the game recording 12 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals. Austrian swingman Michael Kaiser (195-82) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Five Herzogenaurach players scored in double figures. Herzogenaurach's coach Nikola Jocic used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Simon Bradaric answered with 23 points and 7 assists (made all of his twelve free throws !!!) and Serbian-Croatian forward Miodrag Mirceta (198) added 15 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Bad Aibling. Herzogenaurach maintains fifth place in South-East with 10-7 record. Newly promoted Bad Aibling keeps the eleventh position with 11 games lost. Herzogenaurach will face Goldbach (#14) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Bad Aibling will play against Jena II and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
