There was no surprise in Bamberg where 13th ranked BG Goettingen (7-12) was crushed by fifth ranked Brose Baskets (12-5) 100-77 on Sunday. Brose Baskets made 23-of-26 free shots (88.5 percent) during the game. Brose Baskets outrebounded BG Goettingen 29-18 including 21 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. 27 personal fouls committed by BG Goettingen helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American-Georgian Ricky Hickman (189-85, college: NC-Greensboro) fired 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American Augustine Rubit (200-89, college: S.Alabama) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds. Four Brose Baskets players scored in double figures.
