The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Svendborg won third quarter 21-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Forward Dee Franklin (196, college: Ft.Valley St.) accounted for 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Franklin is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Forward Zach Charles (201-95, college: E.Kentucky) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds and Jeremiah Ingram (201-93, college: N.C.Central) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Svendborg in the defeat. Svendborg's coach Lukas Varga rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Randers maintains fifth place with 12-9 record. Svendborg at the other side keeps the third position with seven games lost. Randers will play against higher ranked Naestved (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Svendborg will play against the league's second-placed EBAA and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
