There was a surprise result when eleventh ranked Rosenheim (7-11) edged on the road higher ranked Schwabing (10-7) 82-81 on Saturday. Rosenheim dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Schwabing's 38. Rosenheim forced 22 Schwabing turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Jguwon Hogges (173-86, college: Oregon Tech) who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals and Lithuanian forward Osvaldas Gaizauskas (201-91, college: Ohio Valley) who added 19 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Naturalized British point guard Justin Hedley (191-96) responded with 23 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and American power forward Nick Freer (198-85, college: Grand Valley St.) scored 18 points and 8 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four Schwabing players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Rosenheim have a solid four-game winning streak.
