There was a minor upset in Bochum where 7th ranked SparkassenStars (10-10) were defeated by tenth ranked Titans (9-11) 82-69 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Julian Scott (203-90, college: Adams St.) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Janek Schmidkunz (183-90, college: Amer.Internat.) who added 13 points and 8 assists during the contest. Spanish center Eduard Arques (202-94) responded with 25 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Montrael Scott (190-93, college: Prairie View A&M) scored 13 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Titans maintains tenth position in North with 9-11 record. Loser SparkassenStars dropped to the sixth place with ten games lost. Titans will face higher ranked SG Schwelmer Baskets (#9) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
