Top ranked Bursaspor (15-3) recorded its third loss on the court of eighth ranked Socar Petkim on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by Socar Petkim 72-69. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Bursaspor. The best player for the winners was American power forward Markus Kennedy (206-91, college: SMU) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds. Canadian guard Marek Klassen (185-92, college: Point Loma) chipped in 20 points and 5 assists. Four Socar Petkim players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Socar Petkim (10-8) moved-up to seventh place. Bursaspor at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. Socar Petkim are looking forward to face Ankara D.S.I. (#13) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Bursaspor will play against Akhisar Bld (#4) and is hoping to win this game.
