The most interesting game of round 6 in the NKL was a home defeat of 8th ranked Delikatesas (16-18) to seventh ranked Neptunas-Akv. (17-17) 92-81 in the game for the seventh place. 24 personal fouls committed by Delikatesas helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Center Vytautas Sarakauskas (204-82) had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Deividas Anuzis (182-92) chipped in 16 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Rytis Pipiras (201-95) with 18 points and 4 assists and the former international power forward Sarunas Beniusis (206-93) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Neptunas-Akv. maintains seventh position with 17-17 record. Delikatesas lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 18 games lost. Neptunas-Akv. are looking forward to face higher ranked Telsiai (#5) in Telsiu in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Delikatesas will play on the road against Palanga and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
