Leader Ternopil-TNEU delivered the twenty second victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed 9th ranked DYUSH-DOR (3-20) 122-55. The game without a history. Ternopil-TNEU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to DYUSH-DOR's 26 and made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Ternopil-TNEU forced 22 DYUSH-DOR turnovers and outrebounded them 38-25 including a 29-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Ternopil-TNEU looked well-organized offensively handing out 38 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by DYUSH-DOR's players. Worth to mention a quality performance of forward Oleg Rudakov (194-94, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and forward Valentin Spivak (190-92) who added 21 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) during the contest. Five Ternopil-TNEU players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Oleksandr Fomenko (180-86) responded with 10 points and 6 assists and Sergiy Miasoedov (190-94) scored 7 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Ternopil-TNEU (22-4) have an impressive six-game winning streak. Newly promoted Ternopil-TNEU maintains first position. DYUSH-DOR lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 20 games lost. Ternopil-TNEU will again meet at home DYUSH-DOR (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. DYUSH-DOR will have a break next round.
