ProB top team - Muenster (14-6) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed eleventh ranked Herzoege Wolfenbuettel (5-15) 75-51. They outrebounded Herzoege Wolfenbuettel 44-29 including 30 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a quality performance of American-British center Malcolm Delpeche (204-95, college: Bates) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and forward Jan Koenig (201-93) who added 19 points during the contest. Delpeche is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Swingman Luis Figge (197-97) responded with 11 points and 4 assists and Moritz Huebner (200-97) scored 12 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Muenster have an impressive 13-game winning streak. Newly promoted Muenster maintains first position in North with 14-6 record. Herzoege Wolfenbuettel lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with 15 games lost. Muenster will face Oldenburg (#4) on the road in the next round. Herzoege Wolfenbuettel will play against SparkassenStars (#7) and hope to win that game.
