No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Rostock Seawolves (7-4) crushed at home 9th ranked Eagles BA (2-9) 90-58 on Sunday. They outrebounded Eagles BA 45-31 including 30 on the defensive glass. Rostock Seawolves looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Eagles BA's players. It was a good game for Serbian Filip Skobalj (202-2) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Nicolas Buchholz (200-1) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Four Rostock Seawolves players scored in double figures. Point guard Tim Lang (190-0) answered with 22 points and 4 assists and center Robert Heise (199-0) added 15 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Eagles BA. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Rostock Seawolves. They moved-up to third place in Group 1, which they share with AB Baskets. Eagles BA lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the ninth position with nine games lost. Rostock Seawolves will face Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (#7) on the road in the next round. Eagles BA will play against Piraten in Hamburg and hope to win that game.
