The game in Klaipeda was also worth to mention about. Fifth ranked Telsiai (19-15) played at the court of 7th ranked Neptunas-Akv. (17-18). Telsiai defeated Neptunas-Akv. 89-77. It was an exceptional evening for guard Juozas Balciunas (188-94, college: Trinity Christian) who led the winners and scored 16 points and 4 assists. Point guard Ignas Razutis (185-87) accounted for 10 points and 7 assists for the winning side. Four Telsiai players scored in double figures. Telsiai's coach Povilas Sakinis allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Klaidas Metrikis (202-0) came up with 17 points and 5 rebounds and center Vytautas Sarakauskas (204-82) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Neptunas-Akv. in the defeat. Telsiai moved-up to fourth place. Neptunas-Akv. at the other side keeps the seventh position with 18 games lost. Telsiai will have a break next round. Neptunas-Akv. will play again on the road against Telsiai (#4) in Telsiu and hope to win that game.
