Regular Season Round 13: Rivne - Dynamo-NPU 54-72

Superleague top team - Dynamo-NPU (20-3) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they beat sixth ranked BK Rivne (10-11) 72-54. The game was mostly controlled by Dynamo-NPU. BK Rivne managed to win third quarter 20-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding BK Rivne to just 6 points in second quarter. Strangely BK Rivne outrebounded Dynamo-NPU 46-30 including 17 on the offensive glass. American guard Andreona Keys (178-95, college: Purdue) stepped up and scored 22 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and Olena Teteruk chipped in 15 points. Keys is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Dynamo-NPU's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side forward Liudmyla Spyrydonova (180-84) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds and center Tetiana Havrylchyk (193-0) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. Dynamo-NPU have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. They maintain first place with 20-3 record. BK Rivne at the other side keeps the sixth position with 11 games lost. Dynamo-NPU are looking forward to face Vinnystkiye M. (#8) in Vinnytsia in the next round and are hoping to win another game. BK Rivne will play on the road against the league's second-placed Kyiv Basket and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
