Regular Season Round 21: Bad Aibling - Bamberg 52-62

There was no surprise when 12th ranked Bad Aibling (6-13) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Bamberg (10-9) 62-52 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was American power forward Robert Ferguson (203-85, college: St.Joseph's) who had a double-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Daniel Eisenhardt (200-96) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was Serbian-Croatian forward Miodrag Mirceta (198) who recorded 16 points and 9 rebounds and Johannes Wienet added 6 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Bamberg maintains seventh place in South-East with 10-9 record. Bad Aibling lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with 13 games lost. Bamberg will face Jena II (#13) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Bad Aibling will play against Schwabing and hope to win that game.
